Games I’m Playing – August

The Last of Us Banner

Unfortunately, this is the first month since I’ve started doing Games I’m Playing that I haven’t made any other blog posts between two Games I’m Playing posts. I have some plans for other blog posts so there will be more this month. I was just so busy rebuilding the website, making games, and other activities that I didn’t have time to make blog posts. Although, in my free time I was able to play some pretty awesome games!

Runescape – Like usual, this month I streamed Runescape pretty regularly and gained around 8 million experience; breaking 160 million total experience. Not a lot this month but still a decent amount. I spent a ton of money on herblore so that I can now make overload potions to kill more difficult monsters. Check out my streams to see what I’m doing in Runescape!

Osu! – Just like last month I played a lot of Osu. Within these two months I’ve gone from not even being able to beat the easiest song to being able to beat some of the insanely difficult songs. I am just having a ton of fun playing this game. If you like rhythm games go download this game. My friend has allowed me to borrow his drawing tablet so I’ve been able to get a lot better.

The Last of Us: Remastered – A few months ago I borrowed The Last of Us from a friend and played it over a very long period of time. A few days after its release, I bought the remastered edition and beat it in a few days. This is the best game for Playstation 3 and Playstation 4 (tells you something about the next generation of consoles). All jokes aside, if you have either of those consoles and haven’t played The Last of Us, get up, buy this game, and play it. If you don’t have a Playstation 3 or Playstation 4, buy one to play this game, it is that good. The Last of Us is more than just a game, it’s an experience.

Wolfenstein: The New Order – I started playing this game immediately after I finished The Last of Us: Left Behind DLC (which comes with the remastered edition). The transition from a incredibly believable, serious, emotional, touching, survival game; to a game where you kill robot Nazis in the future didn’t go well. I played this game for a while and put it down. I will probably come back to this game in the future but I’m just not super interested it. I guess I enjoy games with more meaning to it or something like that.

These are the games that I played the most in August! To be notified when new blog posts are added subscribe to the Coded Games newsletter in the sidebar! ->
